NATURE'S 2ND LIFE
In this photographic series dating from 2016, set in the aridity of South Africa, Lynda AGUILAR wanted to reveal the various sources of life to which nature clings, as if to take a sort of revenge on death. Dead trees, like twisted sculptures, adorn the foot of mountains, proving to be veritable showcases for microscopic life.
This series is part of a global theme of resilience, which in photographic form brings meaning to the artist's subject. The different media she uses enable her to approach the theme from different angles, revealing all the emotions inherent in it.
